The thing I've never understood is that Hylians have always been drawn as elves, since the first game, but in a couple of the games they've been refered to as humans and I don't ever remember seeing the word elf come up. Weeeird~

one thing that may help with costume design is to think of a job or a family for her to come from and make her clothes reflect that. Is she from a small town or a large city? Was her family bankers or cobblers? Things like that that we can see in the picture just from how the character is presented and what they're wearing tends to give characters more personallity and makes them more interesting.
