It was going to be a girl with green hair, because there should be more green-haired people in the world. Then it turned out that she looked like a tree... yea, not so great. So I gave the tree-girl an extreme makeover and she turned out like this.

Interesting tattoo's/designs on her face and neck. Do they mean something or are they just there as designs?

Well they do look good, both the design and your ability to draw them. It just tends to add a little more depth to something if we can make a connection to some sort of meaning behind them.
