It's ok and the concepts good and all, but here are some helpful tips that may help alot:
1.) try to choose a definate type of shading. Using airbrush and pencil kinda make it look weird.
2.) Preportion. It's hand is a little long and difugured. Look at your hand for a good referance.
3.) Dodge/burn is a no no when shading. It looks reeeaaaly bad and corny. Don't take the slow way out.
4.) NO PENCIL!! USE PEN!!!! It's alot easyer.
5.) Don't just blotch around the shading all over. Her hand looks dirty.

There you go. This should help you in the future. Note: this is critisism. I'm not picking on you. ^__^

rikku lol dont go postal trying to give tips because you do a bad thing to you use the blur tool way to much im not dissin your art but cmon the law doesnt need laid down here .

Um, Paxil, I didn't mention anything about blurring. I mentioned somthing about dodge and burn. I have to admit that I use it sometimes but I don't use it for shading. Oh and Paxil, Theres a little thing called a period that you don't seem to like. Why don't you give 'em a try. You might like him. :P
