Ah, I see. Well I have a suggestion. Use layers. Did you ever notice that thing at the bottom of Shi Painter that says layer 0? Well, you click on that and you'll see at the left it'll say layer 0, layer 1, layer 2. Well, click on layer 2 and put the lines there. Then click on layer 1, and put the colouring there (the colours will go right underneath the lines, so if you go out of the lines, all you have to do is erase the extra colour) and then for a background, you could put it on layer 0.
