As you probably know, in the last few days several images (21 by my count) have simply vanished from the site, no png, no jpg, no animation, no corrupt file.
I'm working with the webadmin to figure out what the problem is, but we haven't come to any immediate solution.

But, listen up! If you save a copy of your image to your hard disk, immediately after you submit it, I can restore images that have been lost. So, please, now more than ever save a copy of any image to your hard disk immediately after you've submitted it with a title and description.

Here's how to do it:
a) If your image says 'png' under it, you simply right click the image and do "Save Image As..." or "Save Picture As...", select a suitable folder on your hard disk, and *save it with the given file name*. It will look something like 1234.5678.png.

b) If your image says 'jpg', you'll want to save the PNG version, most likely. If you don't, simply follow the instructions for (a).
b1) In Internet Explorer: right click the image and choose properties. Select the URL next to Address that comes up. It should say something like:
http://cellosoft.com/2draw/data/images/1234.4567.jpg
Copy this address to your location box, and change the 'jpg' to 'png'. If it asks you to save or open the file, click save, keep the same name. If it opens the image, go to the File menu and choose "Save As..."
b2) In Mozilla/Netscape6/7, right click the image and do copy image location. Press Ctrl+L then Ctrl+V, then change the 'jpg' to 'png'. Once the image loads, select Save Page As... and save the image with the same name.

c) To save the animation, follow the same steps as b, but use 'pch' (paintbbs) or 'oeb' (oekakibbs2) instead of 'png'.

who do we send it to? i post this (http://www.speedis.org/images/128898.png) at the beginners board and whenever i try to edit it, it takes me to a pic i did a while ago, and i really dont wanna lose this T_T
