I suck at lettering too, I used to be good at but now I'm a digital whore so I'm out of practice. I think we're similar artistic minds, not just in style, I think you use a similar rendering process, like everything you draw just flows from your mind, which would explain the craftsmanship in your work and the slight fish-lense perspectives in your drawings. I look at your work and I see many little things I would use in my own drawings, (again not just in style), things like design elements, composition, line, curves, things one would have developed over time, it's kind of freaky. Anyway, I just thought I'd share that with you.
