anybody remember these??? lol (I found some the other day that I had in junior high) one of them was Dazz... Brick House ahaaahA
I know there's a tool in here that could have achieved the perfect ovals for this, but I'm no good with it, so... I'll just pretend it's warped if it isn't perfect. Didn't take this long, either, jackin around with stuff

I got lots of em. Quite a few, in fact, including Beatles! I have some Elvis too. The kids won't know this is what we used when there were no MP3 , CD, nor cassettes to be had.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Dec 3, 2004)
Funny thing is, though, to me is that it doesn't look alot different than a cd... it's just bigger. OH, and I had Car Wash, too!!! Can you believe that? lol
sincity (Dec 3, 2004)
Whoa, I logged out then saw this and got back on. This is great. God, I don't have any of my old 45s left, sad really. you see some of those cdrs they're making now, make them look like 45s, kinda neat. :}

My favorite song from a record is the great classic "Goober Peas". Its a song from the revolutionary.
davincipoppalag (Dec 3, 2004)
Sarge.. I have that one too.. "eatin' eatin' eatin' goober peas...goodness how delicious eatin' goober peas" (Goober peas are peanuts btw for you kids who don't know)
Sarge (edited Dec 3, 2004)
You must be a history buff too! I'll have to view your drawings.

Any one remember, " My ding aling" ? that was always a party favorite. oh, yeah, remember when you wou be at a party and you would have the Phonograph/stereo, piled with different 45s, I would always sneak in while the party was jammin' and remove some of the records and stick in " tip toe through the tulips" ,just to watch everyone freak. I was stoned most of the time and thought it was funny as hell! :}

I think records are where they came up with the idea for those sit and spin toys...
davincipoppalag (Dec 4, 2004)
Lol..sit and spin eh.. heheheh
somebody (edited Dec 5, 2004)
I think they still have those. Except they light up and play music. Whatever happened to a good old fashioned barrel and a nice big hill (with a helmet and pads of course). ;o)
BTW very fun pic. It brings back memories
