I need to get an optical mouse for drawing and design work, this ball mouse aint cutting it. Unfortunnatly theres not a single store here in New Zealand that sells decent drawing tablets. *sniff* So im thinking of getting the Logitech MX510, since its been so popular and everyone else is recommending it to me.

You can order tablets offline as well, like on Amazon and such and they usually ship relativly soon. Cant say for shipping out to New Zealand, but another good brand that I have heard is Wacom and a lot of artist on the site use a Wacom. havnt heard how the Logitech perform, but I now that logitech is a good company for computer appliances and such. Good luck with your search though :) hope you find one that works

A couple of us have Aipteks . Mine is an 8000u.. Emmamommalag has 6000u..Aubrey has 12000u(no pics with it yet..she used her mouse for that incredible car) Some say AIPTEKs are problematic, but we have had pretty good luck with ours. Many seem to have the WACOM Graphire 2 and 3 and like them quite a bit. Though, I bought one for another friend and it did all kinds of wierd things first off.

If you really want a great mouse I can recommend the one I bought after my old mouse crapped out, the wireless Logitech MX1000 which uses an integrated lithium battery. Pretty much no hassle, recharge it over night when it's getting low and you're good for about a week. As for tablets, you can look up the other threads in the forums about tablets but for sure you can trust Wacom.
