Hi. Thanks for the compliments and the welcome guys. The image is a bit off, in my opinion. And she doesn't look young enough or something, so I may start over or I may attempt to rework it. I wasn't aware of the advanced mode of the Shi painter applet, so I may try my hand at nudging things around a bit.... but currently got alot of school work going on. Anyway thanks again. I may stick around and attempt to develop my coloring skills, something I think I really lack on.

By the way, why do most people prefer mice? What's better about them? Some people actually complain about them. I use a 9x12 wacom... I almost want to use a mouse to see if I can do just as good a job as other people... like "how can they do that good with a mouse??" you know? But iono,..

Most of the people who use mice here do so out of necessity, although there are a couple exceptions.

Nice picture, she's a pretty girl. I think the way her chin looks a bit pronounced here might contribute to her looking older. Hope you find time to keep drawing here.

Wow, Paul, you actually drew her? Was this taken in webcam? (I mean, I don't think she sent you an actually photo of herself or did she?!) I think it looks great. *thumbs up* You still captured her cuteness. This is a good start, Paul. When I first used this applet, I thought it was a bit frustrating. Anyhow, isn't it great? I like using this applet. It's the best.

I'm editing her in secret (keeping my new layer hidden) until I've mastered her face, so don't expect to see anything until I'm really about finished. Vera, your face isn't as easy to capture as I thought, but I'll get it!

Um... bikini, then? Paul?! Tell me or else!! *chases him with a spatula* lmao Her face looks a bit smoother now. I like the background better with white but green is ok too. Unless you wanted it to be complementary colors (red/green). (actually her lips look more pinkish than red though.) Well, good jorb!

Actually I liked the light background too. I guess I could revert if I wanted, but I wanted to take it further just for fun and see how it looked with more color.

No I hadn't envisioned a bikini, Christy. I hadn't really envisioned much past the chest :P And I did join once upon a time I guess last November (2003) but I made one sketchy drawing and left, so that doesn't really count. Since this is the first time I've put any effort at all into anything on here, this would really be my official joining, so sincity's welcome is very appropriate. Not to mention I stated this is my first [real] time on 2draw in the description of this piece.
