She looks as though she's insecure and worried; I'm getting the vibe she wants to be loved and kept by someone (doesn't everybody?). I like it! It's very expressionist. I like the skin tones and the way the eye expresses so much emotion, even though it's very simple. This is definitely NOT a piece of... just brush that statement of theirs off, sunshine.
