He's cute... I like the shading on teh skin. The eyes are nice, too. You should add some shading to the eyes. Also, do you know about layers? If not, click the layer button on the tools, and layer 0 is the bg, layer 1 is for the coloring, and layer 2 is for the lineart. It makes it a lot easier, so you can erase and color without the color or lines getting into eachother.
