This is very cool. For those of you that don't seem to get it, the turkey was to be the original bird-of-the-country, like the eagle is today.

Nice job Staci, the turker doesn't have the same effect on a flagpole but like ya said.. they go alot better with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Ben Franklin wanted the Turkey to be the National symbol before they decided on the Eagle. I'm pretty sure it was him, one of those guys anyway.
