Im not quite finished with this.. im sorry if it isnt Advanced quality but I tryed to make it so the best I could. I will come back to it and touch it up a bit more, so I hope it will be able to stay
Excel_Ichigo (Oct 16, 2004)
So...awesome..and beautiful...
staci (Oct 16, 2004)
its very realistic on the thumbnail..just a bit of smoothing should do the trick..dont over blur tho :P great colors :)
me007 (Oct 16, 2004)
yeah see im just having issues with it. lol how do u do that speckly kind of effect that you have in so many of your works Staci, cause that is how it has it somewhat in the reference pic that i am using, but i dont know how you get that effect, ill go over it a bit more with the smooth brush too but thank u :D i hope once its finished it will stay on advanced
davincipoppalag (Oct 16, 2004)
I think it's a good effort. I would like to see the edges of the drop, itself, sharpened, as a water drop would not have any roughness at all. A bit more sharpness and definition in the underlying leaves would be good , too. I think you are doing very well.
spiritdweller (Oct 16, 2004)
very very good double O seven!
Pantera (Oct 16, 2004)
Wow, very cool, I like it very much :) love the colours.
omegagunman2 (Oct 17, 2004)
Very cool, and very pretty.
monk (Oct 17, 2004)
I like this a lot. I also agree with staci and dave, the edges should be smoother, looks great regardless.
Gigge (Oct 17, 2004)
Intriguing. I could stare at this for awhile. The way it is right now with the rough edges it looks almost like Pente marker. The direction of the lines and the colors are attractive.
staci (Oct 17, 2004)
welp..in lascaux, on the lower left there is a Paper/Mask box, and inside you'll see the word "halftone" greyed out, thats what the speckly bits are, halftones. under that are two sliding thingamajiggers..one is marked "i:", one is marked "d:", dont know why. anyway, slide the i to the left and you get different degrees of grid like dots and lines and such...slide the d to the left and youll get varying densities of specklies, as we like to call them. try it out yo!
me007 (edited Oct 17, 2004)
lol ook so i click and shift one thingamajigger i to the left and d to the right and shift it all around, do the hokey pokey and you spin ur brush around.. so is that all its all about?.. ok I think I have it.. Thankyou :P I just realized :-s im not using lascaux.... crap... roar. ok ill figure it out ill play around with lascaux to so this doesnt happen again lol
staci (Oct 17, 2004)
oh shizzle i didnt realize it either..well in shi it depends on if you have it in super hyper applet mode, or just clark kent mode. i havent used it in a while..maybe someone else will post on how to use it..its not hard tho!
me007 (Oct 17, 2004)
oo k then dawg, as long as there is a way, ill play around with the applet a bit and see what kinda magic i can work up. I think it is in hybernation mode tho. i havnt seen it lift any heavy objects since I started using it, so im pretty sure it isnt hyped up on staroids or anything as you said
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Oct 17, 2004)
lol... Icats needs to write the tutorials... I understand thingamajiggers and stuff, don't you? This is really willlld looking. Can't wait to see what you do to it next.
kejoco (Oct 17, 2004)
in shi painter, if you have it set on advanced mode, there should be a texture button in the menu.
all kinds of different patterns and the like.
just click on the one you want to use and away you go. once you're done with it just click on solid again and close it up
hope this helps
emmamommalag (Oct 23, 2004)
