To those of you Sudanese who are suffering for Jesus Christ, who have had your homes burned, and many, your families crucified in mass crucifixtions:

"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all of our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ." 2 Corinthians 1:3-5

"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:10

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every wieght, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Hebrew 12:1-2

God, please help them to endure in their tribulation; help them to stand for your sake, and give them comfort and consolation in their time of trouble. I pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
