Upsidedown to make the right brain do the work.

I'm left-handed, so the right side of my brain rules anyway. Don't get the upside down part, though. It looks right to me. haha. :)

I tried cocking my head but it didn't work too awfully well. She's purdy anyhoo. Did you draw her upside down?
Axil62 (Sep 19, 2004)
Whatever your dominant side is...it forces the other side to do the work. Right handed people are artistic in the left brain....or so they say.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Sep 19, 2004)
Yes, and their (right handed ppl) art is usually quite different. More precise, in my opinion. But the upside down?
Fin_beast (edited Sep 19, 2004)
It helps to do portraits of yourself upside down because you're brain doesn't recognise it as a face and therefor you are less likley to make things up and draw what's not really there.
Did that make sence?... lol.
Hanging from the ceiling! Nice work Axil.

fin... if you stay upside down painting anything for a long time your brain won't recognize much of anything at all... LOL (okay, fine, going now.... :)
Fin_beast (Sep 20, 2004)
lol. You have to do it with mirrors DBA. :P
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Sep 20, 2004)
