Arg... I have a problem.. We had a crappeh router.. And well, everytime I am in the middle of drawing a picture, my computer freezes, and restarts itself.. It just happened.. I had been working on this picture for about 30 min. and I was almost halfway through the lineart. My computer froze--- and erased it ALL. I am really getting tired of this happening everytime I draw a picture.. I was wondering, Marcello, if somehow, you could add something so that no matter what happens, you can restore your image...

Domo Arigatoo (Thank you) for your concern, and reading this. -bow bow-

Kenshin, I had a similar problem only it wasn't my router but instead a power surge! Everytime you open a page to draw, first things first. Write down the Link address so a moderator can help you recover what is lost! ' } I had to learn the hard way!

um, that link won't do you any good. If you never saved/submitted the picture, it's lost completely, no matter what. Sorry. Try fixing your computer?

Are you on AOL Kenshin? Lately my computer freezes too at very inopportune moments. So far I have been lucky, it hasn't happened before I can submit.. but it is annoying. It sounds very much like what you have going on.

The best thing you can do besides wiping your computer (fixes pretty much everything) is to save your picture whenever the computer gets twitchy. Keep it unfinished hidden, though, of course, and be aware that you might run out of space if you use too many edits. But good luck; hope you can come up with a solution.

This is a computer hardware problem, not something wrong with 2draw, and that means that mods will not be able to fix things for you. If your computer is restarting every half an hour, then you need to get it fixed by someone who knows what they're doing (as opposed to someone who knows just enough to get themselves in serious trouble).

I know it is not 2draw that is messing up.. I was just saying it would be nice if they could make it so you could restore an unsaved image no matter what.. We just added a memory chip thingy-ma-jig... My dad says it is the router.

Hrm, well then. I have no idea whether or not that is a viable option, something like uploading all changes every 5 minutes or so just in case something happens. Of course, since that might be a big change to the system, it might also be hard to impliment, not to mention that this site in general has not been worked on in some time. Something to think about for sure though.

PS. How does a router restart your computer every half an hour? That's some evil router you got there...

I think you need some professional technical support. Good luck anyway!

My dad says the router cannot handle me drawing on this website and my brother or him playing a game on the internet at the same time, so the computer freezes.. So.. I am not sure if it is the router or not.. ;; Thank you for your help, though. ^^

I'm sorry, that does not make any sense to me whatsoever. Any router can and should be able to handle this (at my apartment me and my roommate both are avid game players) and drawing doesn't really take up any bandwidth at all until you're submitting your image. Even if this were the case, the router shouldn't be capable of freezing your computer...

Good luck in fixing this though.
