Rocks under water.

I spent alot of time experimenting with the water in this one...playing around with it... so the actual production time for what you see is less than duration shown on the clock. This is the first picture for me to post since back from vacation, and while I was gone to the beach I had such a strong urge to draw that I drove into town and bought a sketch pad and pencils (I forgot my pastels) and sketched the buildings, ships, jetties, and all that I could see from the deck of the beach house. I had kind of forgotten how much fun it was just to really draw on paper.

MMM, those rocks look yummy. I like the red one with the little lines on it making the splash, they're all over the beach here but they only look good when they're wet.
This picture rocks. (haha, get it?)

edit: that one looks like a baked potato....mmmmm
Gigandas (Aug 31, 2004)
Hehe, DBA, known as the DeadlyBlondeArtist is back....yet to amaze us with more of her amazing masterpieces ;).You always find interesting water images to work with and this one's no exception.Do I even need to tell you how insane this is^^;?I think you already know my answer ;)....

-Oh, and Pam, I think you stole davinci's pun if he ever gets around to commenting on this pic....;)
PolythenePam (Aug 31, 2004)
I hope he doesn't get angry :P
Gigandas (Aug 31, 2004)
Oh, I'd watch out if I were you......;)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Aug 31, 2004)
lol... well, he is the "common tater", but I'm sure he'll think of an alternate pun, he seems to be full of it.. hah
Gigandas (edited Aug 31, 2004)
I dunno, doesn't get much more straight forward for this pic than the one Pam used so.....;)
spiritdweller (Aug 31, 2004)
that's beeyootiful dba... I don't want summer to end! booooo
emmamommalag (Aug 31, 2004)
Water ya talkin about, Gigandas? Poppa's the Prince of Puns. He can probably think of several more. I love those stones, Cindy. My favorite is that big one that just landed on the rest.
davincipoppalag (Aug 31, 2004)
Yep, all the good ones were already taken. But this picture still made a big splash, congravelations.
LEELEE (Sep 1, 2004)

spiritdweller (Sep 1, 2004)
I'd like to pat you on the back for the insane amount of patience you exhibit, dba.... there is NO way, to this day anyway, that I can imagine spending 21 hours on a pic... no no no..... I get sooo frustrated and impatient! :( I bow before your greatness oh masterful artiste hehe :P
TiggerTiger (Sep 1, 2004)

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Sep 1, 2004)
Hi Kasha!!! I miss your pictures, Kasha!!! Where have you been?!!
Kasha (Sep 1, 2004)
I miss your stuff too!

I've been working! well kinda...but I've been busy lately, like recording births and stuff! lol. I HAVE A NIECE NOW! :D
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Sep 1, 2004)
Aww, congratulations!!! I have 4 of them and they are soooo much fun! I teach them how to misbehave and then give them back to my brothers HAHHH!!! :)
Kasha (Sep 1, 2004)
ha, I have 3 nephews... and I don't even have to teach them how to misbehave. It must be genetic. Anyuways, here's a pic of me and my new niece! Hopefully she wont come out being a perverted brat :D
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Sep 1, 2004)
heee I'm sure she'll be nicely perverted... mine are!!! My nephew, however, (as I only have one) is quite sweet and wonderful... I love little boys... they are so much nicer than girls. We are evil, as you know.... I tried to view the picture (it just gave that stupid red thumbnail x that I hate) and I registered and stuff and it looks like I'll have to go to my e-mail and come back to see her... I dunno. I'll go there when I get off of here.
Kasha (edited Sep 1, 2004)

spiritdweller (Sep 1, 2004)
