Help me please!!
I need to turn my lineart into a light blue color, so I could go over in black!
I don't know how to do it!

PS: I'm new. *looks sheepish.* Sorry.

Use 'preserve transparency' on lascaux, or 'reverse mask' on any of the other apps and just color over the lineart with a huge brush. It will only color the parts you drew on. (Preverse transparency a bit better.)

Erm.... It, uh. Ain't really working.
So you click on the 'preserve transparency' button on lascaux, then just color over the lines (in the same layer)?
Or do you need it to be in a different layer. I've tried both.

On the same layer. This is assuming you didn't use, say, a white brush instead of the eraser to erase lines.
Select the layer. Click the preserve transparency checkbox in the edit layers box. Select the paint brush tool (disable anti-alias, if it's on), pick a nice 40x40 brush or whatever suits your fancy. Pick a light blue color. Go wild on the canvas.

is there a tutorial on how (and what) the tools are on lascaux. it's an awesome applet, and i'd like to figure out how to use it to it's full potential. i know there are tutorials on how to use shi-painter, but i just wanted to know if their are any for lascaux?

Unfortunately, there is not an official tutorial out there for Lascaux sketch. You might be able to find one via google though.
