I've had a fantastic time browsing just a few of the various artists on here, and there is so much more to see. It's nice to get creative ideas from seeing others at work. I thought I would just tell everyone (and I'm sure a lot of you already know about it) about a great publication that comes out every year just filled with amazing stuff. Its called Spectrum, I get it every year at Borders, and have found back issues at amazon, and it has a compilation of what the editors feel is the years best fantasy artwork. Tells the artists, who they did the job for, and the medium they used. Some of you would not be out of place in that book, and I haven't looked yet, but perhaps submissions are available. Anyway...I just saw that Spectrum 11 was 'bout to come out, and that made me think of putting a post up for all of you who are missing out on it. Here's a link that I just found to the official website. http://www.spectrumfantasticart.com/
Hope all of you that have never seen the book get one, and enjoy!
P.S. Browsing the official website, I see that there is, indeed, an entry form. There are several artists on here that I believe are of that caliber. There's a goal for you, next years competition. LOL.

Thanks Jack.. this looks interesting, I may get a copy. I agree.. I can think of several who look like they would do well in that.

That was really interesting and it seems like a needed concept in art now - I'll probably look for that book next time I pass a book store. Thanks, sprat! :)
