I'm going to "adopt" this picture as a tribute to my Dory who died 35 years ago today.. she was the sweetest and dearest dog I've ever had. From time to time over the years, I've dreamed that she came back, making me so happy, I'd wake up crying.
That makes me sad, emma... I had a golden retriever that died from kidney failure last year and she was the smartest, sweetest thing. I got very sick for a while and she was my constant companion, especially during that time she wouldn't leave my side because she knew I didn't feel good. I have another golden retriever now, and I love her, too, but I still miss the first one and reading your comment made me tear up.
Where are you, anyway, Axil....? We are waiting for you to finish this!!!!
sorry to hear about your dogs, i know the pain of mine recently, it probably will never cease to tear me up, and i've wished so hard to see that familiar face, once more. very heart fealt for all of you......
I understand. I'm sick of everything. You just have burn-out. I love the drawing, anyway... it emitted a great feeling from the moment you sketched it and it still does. I am going to draw a picture of Miss Piggy in a red-light district now.
That's a really sweet picture of the dog Axil. I like it alot. He just seems lost in his own world watchin the hussle and bussle of the neighborhood outside.
