although not realism at this stage, it makes me think of Mooseflower's style. this is nice.

I agree with zack, and yes. It reminds me Of mooseflower's style too. I think its the way you colored.
Anyways, so far it looks good, mabby a bit more detail in the skin, and a little more shading. Still lookin good ;)
