I think its pretty darned good! I think the sword looks a bit crooked in relation to the hilt though.. Nice work

Excellent job on the hands; I like your coloring style. Because of the angle of the sword, however, the placement of the bottom hand makes me think the sword's handle is bent. Seems like the hand should be farther forward.

Yes, definitely, the hand does make it look like the handle's bent.going to have to fix that somehow.

Finished. Not as sharp as I had hoped when I started, it looks a lot better than I thought I could do. Probably over the space limit now.

I think it looks good. I think I was seeing a different kind of sword in my mind's eye on the first comment, then I realized its a Samurai Sword? In that light it doesn't look out of line at all. Nice work You can get more space if you need it.. just memo a mod and paste the url for the pic in the memo..

hmm... I thought of that too, but your comment was right, if I had wanted to draw a samurai sword(not quite sure of the more technical name at this present moment) I would have drawn the blade quite differently.(I Have studied the things and the blades aren't flat like the one I drew here, they have a rift on the blunt end a small section of the blade from side view: ||| | | <- like so except in between the two lines On the left(other than the outside line) are shaded darker because there is an indentation on the blade at this point; also the backside of the blade where the 3 lines are is blunt so that the blade is shaped somewhat like a wedge.)

Ok..then the sword you drew is a bit out of line with the hilt as I said in the first comment.
