you can never have enough contrast! it looks great..the contrast of the leaves is awesome..
for me it was hard to see that some shadows/shading should be almost black, but if you really look you can see the high white and the dark colors are what make a picture pop : )

Heh, that's alright. It certainly doesn't detract from the picture. Great job with the leaves/etc. that your kitty is sitting on. Can't wait to see this finished.

Such a cute cat, this Cleopatra is. She looks very comfortable and content there. The contrast and shadows are done very well...great job. :]
