Woah, this is a very interesting picture. ^^

I think it might help if you shortened the phalange on the forefinger between the knuckle and the first joint a bit. The translucent effect with the lighting is nice though.

i like it too..even while the fingers are wacky, but dont worry about it...realism isnt always best

it looks dreamy, the piano keys rock
audie (Jun 11, 2004)
Thanks!I couldn't get those freakin fingers right.ha ha.
emmamommalag (Jun 11, 2004)
Great job on the keys and the thumb looks good. I like this. :)

I am impressed that anyone knows how to spell phalange, Gigge. That anyone even knows what it means, much less to use it. I commend you. (you did, however, make a typo on knuckle... It's not kunuckle, which sort of spoiled the whole you are a smart kiddo effect) :) It is quite surreal, and reminds me of my grandmother trying to get me interested in playing piano which i didn't give a flying you-know-what about.... but it's the nice feeling that it imparts that counts, and it does impart a feeling.
Gigge (Jun 11, 2004)
What? Spelling counts??!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 11, 2004)
Yes, and phalange you pass on. Typo's don't really count. So you're still cool, okay? :)

Don't let the compliment go to your head, though, Gigge. Remember where it's coming from... a Texas blonde.

I like the dimensionality of the keys and the color used here, Audie.

Wow! the piano keys look real and I like that sepia look to it:)

I like this too, even though the hand is off. The angle of the hand playing is kinda too low for what the hand position would be to actually play and that index finger is too long and off angle.. but in spite of all that.. I still like this alot.

The keyboard is quite photorealistic, and the hand has a good sense of movement in it. The blurring over the keyboard adds to the sense of fast-paced movement!
