Feed him!! lol heeheehee
LovelyLori (May 24, 2004)
oh shush you... he eats as often as possible, trust me!!! seriously... this sucks, I've bought new clothes, then they get ruined... I would like him to leave the house looking presentable.... but he never comes back that way! he says he can't help it... whenever he's either just sitting around doing whatever, the pc, schoolwork at his desk.. he does this... it's really makin' me mental!
DMV (May 24, 2004)
LOL this is funny...as for your problem maybe you should put something on his shirts that taste bad:(
nothing that will stain or make him smell bad :)
just a thought, cool pic !
marcello (May 24, 2004)
habaņero.
davincipoppalag (May 24, 2004)
How about get him some edible undies and send him to school in those? (<slaps self for that one)...yea what DMV said..there must be something that you can put on there to stop him.
thug (May 24, 2004)
he could wear a helment with a face plate or face guard. I'll bet a day of that humiliation would put a stop to it. Maybe try it on a week end.
Kloxboy (May 24, 2004)
I looked around for a solution but the only one I received was give the child gum. Basically, give his mouth something else to chew, sugarless gum would be best for a younger child. Another solution I found was just discipline him, punish him for eating his shirt but that's up to you. Personally I don't think a spanking is in order for such an innocent habit, but giving him an assertive scolding might be effective.
Xodiak (edited May 24, 2004)
Tell him to eat only his schoolmates' clothes, not his! >:D

what's that mean Marcello?
and thanks everyone else.... DMV... my stepmother thinks I should rub pepper into his shirts... then just wipe off the excess... a thought, but I can't picture myself doing that daily... lol... it'd piss me off I think... and thug, lol.... that's a good one too hehe... Clox... he's been spoken to more than once, trust me... no spankin's though, I don't really ever do that although sometimes he thinks he can haul off and whack me!and XOD and Dave... lol.... well... lol... dat's all I gotta say....
marcello (May 24, 2004)
habaņero: perhaps the hottest pepper in existance.
emmamommalag (May 24, 2004)
Lori.. my youngest son used to do the same thing. He eventually outgrew the habit. Perhaps you could find something else for him to chew on. Let his grow.. when I was a child, I chewed on my hair. lol
taori (May 24, 2004)
yeah, habaņero would do the trick. i've had some bad experiences with that stuff. believe me, it makes a lasting impression.
LovelyLori (May 24, 2004)
emma, so good to know it's not just my son... lol... I will try the pepper if he keeps it up, but yesterday, thank God, he tried his best and didn't ruin that shirt....
staci (May 24, 2004)
yes habanero (so what? i cant do the squiggly line!) would be great on a kids shirt...all he would need to do was get some on his hands and then rub his eyes and oh what fun the school nurse will have that day. or better yet..the poor kid will go to take a leak and you know..it would be bad. bad bad bad.
LovelyLori (May 24, 2004)
lollll... didn't think of all that... lolllll
staci (edited May 24, 2004)
that happened to my brother once when he stayed here..im CERTAIN he wont mind me telling this story...
i was growning jalapeno plants and he wanted to try one..so i cut a sliver and handed it to him and silly me i didnt tell him to wash his hands after..(he was only 9 or 10 at the time) and then later he's like uh...my "area" is burning..and im like uh..okay? so i gave him some stuff to try to remedy the situation and then when i went back intot he kitchen i looked at the pepper remnants and realized the poor kid had gone to the jon and well...bad bad bad.

Wow...that is a problem all right. Sorry that I have no advice for that one. We had a dog once, that would chew the clothes hanging on a line to dry, leaving teeth marks all through them(totally ruined some fav shirts of mine, grrr...) My mom would get after him with a rolled up newspaper and then, finally, she just ended up giving him some peanut butter to keep him real busy whenever she hung the clothes out. (Too bad your son is gone longer than it takes clothes to dry on the line... :)
edit: I 'was' just kidding...good luck with your problem though...:I
Axil62 (May 24, 2004)
How about if you start wiping your butt with his shirts?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 24, 2004)
I swear this is the hardest I have laughed in ages, I think this drawing should go in the showcase (I am totally serious, for humorous merit) I have the perfect solution... Tell him not to do it again or you'll bust his ass. If he does it again, bust his ass. That always works, whatever the problem. :)
LovelyLori (May 25, 2004)
lollllll you two... haha
tattered_wing (May 25, 2004)

LovelyLori (May 25, 2004)

davincipoppalag (May 26, 2004)
