I can't remember if I asked this somehow somewhere or did I just think it.... but when you comment on someone's draw or they on yours... and then the pic is deleted... are points lost by both parties?

I don't think so. I've deleted my own pictures after commenting on them to answer someone and I only lost points for the pic...I think...

On the topic of deleting, how come under the 'edit' option only some pictures have the 'delete' button?

laurael (May 12, 2004)
I think you can only delete a pic within 24 hours...

Eventually, yes, points gotten for comments on a picture that ended up being deleted will be lost. No penalty, just enough such that it were as if you never posted in the first place. (Yes, erasing history!)

but does the person who left the comment get their points deleted... if so, I'll be more careful about deleting after comments are left....

oh goodness..if someone has 91948209357 points already then them missing one or two points isnt going to hurt..and thats who mostly comments on our draws anyway..people with 923048029384 points..i wouldnt stress it
i dunno why people care about points anyway..its just a way to weed out spammers and trouble makers right? |

That's exactly what they are for, to keep people from abusing features on this site.

You must be careful when you detelete drawings because some people lose their hard earned points. Some people try really hard to get those points, because, as I heard, if you have many points you get a t-shirt with Marcello's face on it as a present! <:)

I think XOD should get points for abusing himself! lol
