Oh, just rub it in, Icats,...! lol I get to take a weeks' vacation in a beach house this summer, but, but, it's a Texas beach... need I say more???? I worked on a seascape type picture last night and I struggle so with getting the deep blue-green sea color I want out of the applet pallette... no matter what I did I couldn't get it so after an hour of cussing it I deleted it. Maybe I'll try again later. This is a pretty one... and close to the color I wanted...but not the hue I was searching for in mine. I think a few light opacity unblended strokes (close to the same color underneath) might take out the blurriness that happens sometimes.

I never get tired of the sea either. We spend a week at the beach in New Jersey every June (Jersey has terrific beaches)it's the Atlantic there. Here we have Long Island Sound..not much of a wave producer, but still the ocean. Its a bit blurred for me..or do I need my glasses cleaned? The color pallette is wonderful.

It does seem out of focus but the colors are beautiful and it makes me long for the sea.

lol, It does seem a little out of focus to me now too. I don't remember that it was that way when I posted it. (maybe I was just tired, and my eyes were out of focus, and it looked good to me then.) :o)

If you're on aol xwind.. they have that preset compression thing for graphics which makes things go blurry in the interest of speed in loading. You can disable it. There is a posting here somewhere on how, I forget where.
I did it..but I decided I would rather see a bit blurry than have another birthday waiting for sharp loads. I am on dialup so its already slow as molasses .
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 6, 2004)
Maybe that's why everything needs to be sharper, Davin? lol....

Do you mean from the artist's or the viewer's standpoint? It seems to me that if it had something to do with your computer or connection, ALL the pics would look blurry.
