ever hear Johnny Cash's version of Hurt, by NIN? It is so funny to hear his version. Btw I like most of his stuff but he is a punk just like Marylin Manson that likes to get attention with shocking music. Trent is very talented but a bit too juvinal.

I discovered them through the "With Teeth" album. Up until then I heard about this band called NIN but had no idea how good his music was. What I didn't realise was I had taped this awesome song called Metal on a French Radio Station years back and never found out who sang it. Little did I know as I was looking for music to download this song was by none other then Trent himself. I was so happy. I was looking for that song for ages. And I've said it to my friend, his music is sex. Every one I hear it just sounds like someone's ready to get down and dirty. They are one of my favorite bands. Capitol G is a new fave of mine.
As for Johnny's version of "Hurt", I cry everytime I hear it, and the video makes it more emotional. I think his version is much better than Trent's, and that's a rare thing to say. Just like AFI's "Head Like a Hole" is better. But still, nothing beats Reznor. :)
