Yeah, Chilling. The chilren are chillin'. :) Cute idea for a pic, good sketch so far. Maybe what's bothering you is that she may in reality be smaller than he is, but maybe not quite that much smaller.. (look at the difference in the proportions in their shoulder width, arm span, etc., for example..) could that be it?

That is what I was going to say too, yet her head is the same proportion as his, and her body is way smaller.. I think that is why it looks a bit odd. Should be a nice picture when its done.

Yes, I do believe that was the problem, and you fixed it nicely. This is a good pic now... I like the added touch of the painting in the bg. :)

i can't see anything different with the two volumes(besides the fact that one is colored and the other isn't) but i don't think either is screwy! seriously, am i blind or am i just not an expirienced enough artist to see the difference?
oh, and this is really cool. like the dark colors, the painting, everything. ^^
