I like this... it's a nice use of color. They would look like they had a little more dimension if you added some detail to the inner part of the petals in a light color like you have them outlined with. Very pretty!

Oh yes, exactly what I was thinking! They are perfect now, and they stand out nicely from the background. Looks like a little greeting card. :)
