it amazes me how you can visualize these in black and white and make them look this way.. he looks as if he is sweeping out a small dark cabin and is facing the sunny doorway where the dust will be swept out ..its even brighter on the low areas like it would be from sunrays coming down on an angle into the door.. ..

I am going to guess that this picture is inspired by Jimi Hendrix's song. Knowing that makes the picture say more to me. It's like literature; people can analyze all day long and come up with new meanings. It doesn't mean any of them were the artists' intention, but to me, that song and this picture go together to make a whole mood. In fact I played the song while I looked at this, and I see the ambiant wind in this picture.
