there's always something about a monochromatic peice that always invokes imotion into the viewer and Axil you are really good at it too. I can never figure out this type of style no matter how hard I try. simply wonderful work. :D

I didn't do any one part to completion and then move to another part. Worked on all of it as a whole pretty much so there is no way to say how long the guitar took or how long the shoe took etc etc.

did you start by adding light on a black canvas or grey on a white canvas? If i had to make a guess without taking the time too view every edit i'd say that this is all on a single layer. is that correct? i really admire your abilities so i can't help but ask

Yes it's on a single layer. I started with a black "canvas" and laid down the basic forms in whites and grays to start. Thank you for the compliment.
