i neeeeeeed that book, i like roses but theyre so hard to draw so can i borrow it? :-p ill probably end up getting my own :). this is really pretty the vase looks either shiney or really colourful either way its really pretty

Beautiful roses, very soft. The base of the vase needs to be slightkly rounded for perspective though. I like how the colors from the roses are reflected in the vase. You probably know more about oils than I do so I'll shut up now.

This is really nice, my only suggestion for you would be to cut out and work on some of the edges of the roses, it looks alittle too blurry. And maybe add some more highlights on a few edges to make the pedals pop out some more.
The paint effect is great though

Axil you are so right, and the base of the vase is rounded in my original oil painting. *Slaps self in forehead* Dunno how I missed that. Was going for a very soft look with the roses, swear I didnt touch them with the blur key lol.
