I'd go all psychedelic :) Maybe cheesy velvet-painting style lol.

oooh, also, I'd move the whole thing a little more center, that horn is leading the eye right off the picture and will really detract form the composition in the end. Just IMHO, but thought I'd mention it!

It's really good, if your into unicorns. Have to say, one of my distant relatives started off drawing unicorns. She now makes Bronze lifelike sculptures for various organizations. (not of unicorns, but human sculptures)
