The Me163 Komet rocketplane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qbv_nwoiKvY I was priveleged to know the Chief Test pilot of that program , Rudy Opitz who settled in Stratford as a consultant after the war, and he was the FAA supervisiing pilot in my glider club , Nutmeg Soaring when I belonged to that a few years ago. He passed on last year in his 90s.. interesting man.
