@__@ I don't think this is quite "intermediate" but I thought I'd put some effort along with an attempt at something different. I've only just started using my tablet and I haven't drawn in like a year.. it's been a while. <3 :D

I like the face..perhaps a little more effort in the swirlies is in order though.
