it's really called "scary Xmas"cause the city of Eugene planning dept.,hid from the public,and all those living on the long residental road,River Rd.that they'll be widening the 4 lane rd,without telling anyone.(hence,the surveyors already out there.)and running to Junction City.Meaning,every resident on River Rd.gets their house chopped,front yard,ect.chopped,and their living space added to the road."Eminent domain"is very common in the united States(democracy?)and no tax payer can fight it,and win.Meaning,the govt.,local or otherwise,can take your private land,and you have no say in it.It's legal.So,Merry Xmas,I just got word(a bus driver,who knows,told me)that my front yard,maybe the front of my house,gets chopped off.I have no say in it.Great. My neighbor's next door house,is right next to the road,she'll have her house completely destroyed. whew. "Land of The Free"--free what??Great Xmas gift,Santa!!
