thanks Angel Artist, the Doctors decided that I have myasthenia gravice which is a rare neurological disorder, there is no cure but at least my vision has started to improve this week on the new medication, It is noon and I have had no double vision or blurred vision as yet today, Iam a nurse as well but can't work anymore, I am using a hoveround and a walker. I have been an RN since 1961 so it is time to retire anyway
how far along are you in nursing school? I really liked critical care but since 1992 I have been in home care and critical care is a great experience to prepare you for that, I agreed to help another nurse and went out to see one of her patients and found the wife dead and the husband dying and on another case found the patient with a full blown hemopnuemothorax and the ambulance crew argued with me because his vital signs were normal. What DORKS they were, if they had waited he would have died. I love stopping Doctors from doing stupid stuff too. You can't stand by and let them do something to a patiient that you know will harm them. Nursing is very challenging and rewarding so I wish you well in school
