when this is finished, she'll be looking at some bloody scratches on her arm.. I'm not sure what to do for the background. Any ideas?

Im pretty proud of this one, already it looks like it will become my best painting ever! :D
I'll paint some farm houses on the ground, but what do you guys think, should i also paint a castle? or some airships, or floating islands.. hmm, well i guess it depends on how good i manage to execute them :/

I think they are both really good..but if you don't mind me saying so, the Harpie's face is a little too human....
