My mom didn't know it was a trilogy and bought me the second book in the series.. it's nice, nothing more, but maybe the first one's better.

padmooks: it's a fiction/crime novel. I highly recommend it.

shults: since it's a trilogy, you should read the first one so the characters make more sense how they came to where they currently are.
