I don't like it. At all. While I was drawing it, I was really annoyed, it's not anything how I would like it to be and I haven't the patience today to really make it look good. But thank you.
if you want to make it better, lower the clouds over the sun because they don't rise like that over the sun and you could try adding a few wispy clouds across the sun, the water and sun are beautiful, you have light reflecting on the bottom of the clouds which is good
Thanks for the tips. This is the ref I sort of used: http://i42.tinypic.com/6hrfgn.jpg. I'll have to work on this picture on a day I'm in a drawing mood. I just don't have the patience or attitude at the moment.
I have no idea, I have never seen it that way in real life or in photos and it is not like that in her ref pic I think if she follows the ref she will be happy with her draw, after all, that is what is most important, not what we say but how she feels when she looks at it
The clouds are in the forground so it just looks like they're over the sun, it just appears that way because of the angle of the photo. I wouldn't change them to much.
They're relaxing to draw. You don't have to think about things that could be wrong and it's fun to play with different colors. I could only drew landscapes in the beginning :)
any sugestions I might make do not matter, she should do what she feels is right, her work is beautiful as it is and if she doen't like to do sunsets she does not need us fussing over it

I like the reflection in the water, it looks watery.
