Keep it on a separate layer until you've decided. That way you can go either way when you've finished with the coloring. I love the beautiful twist in the torso. The arm and neck/clavicle/shoulders look really good, too. (P.S if you don't know how to color underneath your line art: Set the line art layer to 'Multiply', then color on a layer beneath it.)
Thanks for the comments everybody....I know how to do it Teapot...but I appreciate your help nontheless..when I first started oekaki, I always kept my lineart, it's just been a long time since I kept it....actually the first picture I ever did here was with lineart... http://2draw.net/view/90436/
I'd prefer it without, your work is fantastic without and has become your trademark but you need to do what is best for you, I'm just saying what I think now you need to do what you want...I don't think anything I just said will help you make up your mind :)
When I do it, I usuallu put my lineart on layer 2..go under with the color on layer 1, and then get the background in on layer 0...If I need more than that then I just add a layer..but usually three layers works very well for me..
Sometimes I'll do an experiment for some effect and use a separate layer so I don't screw up what I've done so far, but mostly I like to work on one layer, too. It's hard to make your work look integrated when you keep the layers separate. I've done production projects in Photoshop using 15 or 20 layers. I have to name them all of I'd go mad.
I usually use one or two layers, maybe some more for effects... I know people that average a hundred layers per drawing (in photoshop) and once I did a collab and when I received the psd I was just like, holy shit how the hell do you keep track of all this?? And they were unnamed layers, too. x_x
Green hair would look nice, imo, though I can also see pink.
