I love it how people automatically assume just because you draw cartoons that your'e a cartoonist for a newspaper... like these jobs are really easy to come across.I've been asked before if i was a well known professional artist...i mean what the fuck...are these people taking the piss or being serious?
dang i wish i had some bacon. here's my choices..
an onion bagel, cream cheese, left over chili, salad in a bag, salami and provolone, turkey, tater tots, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, garlic toast, chips ahoy cookies, apples, watermelon, left over rice and broccoli, or an orange creamcicle.
My nephew can draw cartoons as good as you axil......he graduated from the Pittsburgh Art Institute, and he can't find any newspapers that need a cartoonist either. He was thinking of starting his own comic book. I've asked him several times to come online and draw some of his cool pics.....but he's too busy doing other things. I think you would enjoy seeing some of his artwork.....he's really good.....and so are you......:)
I really don't know anything about the 'newspaper/comics' business, I was just curious. So yes, Bobstained, I was being serious. I also don't know what finding a job for a paper entails or how one goes about that but I imagine submitting ones work and a job request to some newspapers is a start...
Axil, your cartooning is full of so many ranges of styles and so well drawn that many people, artists and non-artists alike, would easily think you do it professionally. I just hope that you're not offended by me asking.
I apologise for being a dick elly...i just think there must be a hidden agenda when people are being nice, when their probobly just being nice. You should get your'e nephew to post his work at deviantart cracker, or better still get him to post some stuff in the forums here.
Hmm, when I see someone being nice, I always think they are nice and that they like to give people a feeling of being valuated. Sometimes even online humans can really imagine it would be fun for someone else if they succeed even more with what they do well. Like for instance you drawing really good realistic looking art and Axil with his Cartoons and paintings.
Thanks for the suggestion flubadub....I never thought of telling my nephew about "deviantart".....he could actually sell some of his stuff there. I'll tell him about "deviantart", and I'll ask him to post some of his work in the forums here......he's so busy doing other stuff though......I don't know if he'll have time to post anything. He's busy working two different jobs, because he can't find a full time job in the "field" that he's interested in.
I'm nice! Too nice sometimes, and I like giving people the enefit of the doubt. But, I can be a bit of a bitch when I want to be. Or when someone really pisses me off...
i've only seen herr's at walmart once..a few cases of them, then they were gone. idk about lays. herr's are bright blood red and make your mouth and fingers extremely red too..and are friggin delicious.

he's pretty cute, i think he'd be funnier if his arms were on the front of his torso kinda, and smaller
