Can someone walk me through drawing human hair? All the tutorials I've found are for photoshop. (obviously I don't have it!)
So can someone teach me how to draw realistic human hair? I tend to make it look 'stringy' or 'cartoony'.

I think the best thing you could do is look through the showcase see some hair you like and watch the animation, that is if the drawing you like was done with oekaki shi painter.

Well I think you'd be able to draw hair here if you can on PS, they're not too different, imo. Minus all the filters and focusing on the essential drawing tools, Lascaux can replace PS for small drawings. They even have similar hotkeys.

I hate doing hair..I mean you see how I do the hair in my pictures and it's a real pain in the butt..but there is no deviating away from the method I use...it would make me crazy...

What I'm trying to do is make my anime pictures more of a 3D feel to them. I have to know how to make realistic hair! Thanks for helping everyone!

I think just looking @ some examples should get you started, Thats what I do. These kinda of things you just have to learn on your own. xD
