Guys, my art keeps getting moved down. I wouldn't get mad about it, but I think my art has a high "quality". It's original, and it's not like I'm doing anything crass or against the rules. ALSO, my art fits the time requirements for the descriptions of the different levels. For example, I spent 2 hours and like, 2 minutes on one drawing, so I put it in the advanced section. It's not realistic or anything, but it's got it's own style and I really liked it, but it got moved down to intermemdiate. I don't know why this happened! Nobody can say I didn't put work into that drawing and it's getting me all worked up and I'd just like to know if anyone has an explanation for this. I like this site a lot, but people are getting anal about time restrictions and the "quality" (whatever that means) of the drawings! You don't have to draw realistically to possess "quality" and I'm sick of people thinking that. I don't want my artwork to be in the showcase or anything, but if someone could please explain why my "advanced" artwork is getting pushed down to the "intermediate" section, that'd be great. Thanks.

Digital art is a struggle indeed. I too have had my work moved down. I think it goes according to your skill level when you firt joined and most IMPORTANTLY How LONG you've been with the site. You also shouldn't judge The differences between levels. there are huge gaps. Thats why I put all of my "lazy work" on beginner. Right now I'm still building up Information on the digital art. In short I'm going to skip the "In-between". I still have a long ways to go! The art your doing does seem very creative, I like it. But it I am positive that your art is not advanced level. Just keep working, ...

Nah, it doesn't go by how long you've been on the site at all. There are plenty of people who have posted their first drawing on the advanced board, and it stayed there because it was up to the quality standards.

Don't get discouraged by it, though, just keep practicing.

Try comparing what you consider to be advanced from your gallery to that of what's already in the advanced board. Check the differences and similarities. Sometime it takes more than fitting the criteria of the board for it to fit in with the rest. Originality doesn't always coincide with quality, or much of anything. I can take a great big piss on my bed sheets and hang them fuckers up at a gallery and that will probably be the most original piece there.

He has removed the drawings he is referring to.
And they were not as good as he says. He was just being a brat.

The advanced quality refers to how well you execute your drawing doesn't it? How well you used a technique and such.

If you look at my gallery half my drawings are on the intermediate board...i'd rather understate my ability than overstate it then you dont have any whinging assholes complaining....I've probobly done intermediate/advanced quality drawings on the beginner board before it just depends if i need the space or not.

It is my experience that those who really can do excellent drawings, like for instance you Flubbles, usually go for the intermediate or beginner board.
The newbies who think they are god, when in fact, they are not, automatically go for the advanced / intermediate board.

There's nothing worse than a big ol' brag ass.I dont even consider myself an artist...just somebody who can make things look a little like a photo.

I post on the beginner board because I belong there (i haven't studied enough) and don't really count as an artist yet, so I guess I'm like a dabbler. All the noobs go there and since most of my bs is anime I have a good chance of getting a "kawaii" or something. If only for the lulz.
I never said I was a good person.
