Hey, I didn't look at the answer and I knew. Having seen a picture of you from more recent times I recognized you.
BTW, you're the prettiest in the pic, and not saying that because i 'know' you :D. We don't have proms here :'(. Or as much extra curriculum activities. We had schoolparties, but nothing that meant having to get a fancy dress and show up in a cool car. Then again, we aren't allowed to drive until we're 18. Alcohol however is permitted from the age of 16. I believe schools today do try to give prom-like parties. What I also would have liked was a yearbook. Now I have class photo's with a lot of people I don't know the names from anymore. |

I actually still associate with a lot of people from high school...the taller girl to my left is my friend Sam..we hang out about every other weekend...I used to love to dress up fancy for pretty much any occasion..not so much anymore...and I quit drinking some time ago...That's why i am really excited about the halloween party coming up..I can dress how i want and no one can say anything...when I was younger i had a very strange manner of dressing...I see that a lot in my daughter now..she definitely has her own idea of style..:D

Well..I had mine when I was 18..because I failed a grade or two...you know that whole problem where your'e really applying yourself but not in the right places..lol..anyway..I just turned 37 on August the 2nd...sweet people sang to me..it was great...I don't make friends very easily..so it just seems right that the ones i do have are the ones who have always been there...I know right..imagine me not making friends...

It was quite by chance. I'll try to make a long story short. I was basically a fucked up kid, so I joined something called Job Corps when I was about 18. At the time there was and influx of Asians from Laos into America thanks to a bunch of politicians (Carter's gang). A lot of them wound up in Job Corps as well where I befriended them. After I graduated (with flying colors of course) I wound up staying with a Laotian family in Denver. The boys in that family happened to be friends with my wifes brothers and inevitably we wound up going over to see them. There she was, sitting like a beautiful flower on the sofa and there I was drunker than hell. She thought I was the biggest ass on earth. I thought she was way out of my league and I didn't think much about it again for awhile. Somehow I ended up working in a bakery where her mom and dad worked and I became curious about this beautiful woman I'd seen in there house that day. So I knew her mom didn't hate me and I started passing letters and notes to her to give to her daughter, knowing that she couldn't read a word. Surprisingly enough she responded in kind. I began calling her. I'd go to the park and find a pay phone and literally stand there at that phone for 3, 4, 5, 6 hours talking to her on the phone, rain, now sun... it went like that for a year. Her brothers were dead set against the long haired drinking American ass having anything to do with their virgin sister so we had to sneak a lot. Finally I said fuck it, at the risk of her father killing me (literally) I made arrangements to announce my intentions and did so. They still don't like me, but she's still crazy about me. :) So no, to answer your real question, I've never been to Asia and she was not a whore.

We went to high school together, didn't think much of each other. However I must admit that me as a teenage girl made a list of classmates once and behind his name I wrote : he seems very nice, but quiet. After high school finished we both went to different colleges and lived our lives. Until one day about 13 yrs after HS, we encountered each other on-line. When mailing back and forth I remembered his name and knew that we were classmates, so we went on a date and we're together ever since. :D. |

I remember my Grandparents had a great 'junk' drawer. I'd love to look in it just to see what I could find. There would be playing cards, pens, pencils, chips, erasers, contracters, rulers, rubberbands, clips...and the rubberbands would be kinda funky lookin' because they had once been on the newspaper that had been thrown on the front step. They also had a closet in the living room that held mostly games. It smelled like cedar and it was WONDERFUL! They had chinese checkers, chess, regular checkers, monopoly, and tons and tons of puzzles. To this day I love the smell of cedar just for the memory it brings with it.

oh yeah my grandma had that too, not the cedar part but the closet part. it had board games, cards, dominos and extra pillows and blankets..the best blankets in the world. they always smelled like Gain because that was the detergent she used...and they were the kind with a wooly part and then satin trim. my grandmother has 123123 grandchildren and when we'd come visit we'd make pallets on the living room floor and it was always a sea of bodies when you woke up in the morning. usually we'd play monoploy or my cousin and i would always play speed, or spit, if you know what that is. the older uncles and stuff would play risk or this game with glass pebbles of different colors on a grid, and you'd have to capture the pebbles of the oposite color. and we'd sit and watch and i always wanted to play it but they'd say we'd lose the pieces. probably right.

Not only did i have my own bed i had my own room with a tv.When i was really young about 5 or 6 i stopped at my grans for a week while my parents were on holiday, and i told my gran my mom always put smarties on top of my porridge.So every morning she sprinkled some on top.When she asked my mom , my mom told her i'd never had smarties on top of my porridge ever before.

wow, so it's kind of like being a tutor? Or a teacher - tutor? I have never heard of the "essay writing UK service". Is it part of the regular school? Or is it a special service that government-funded, that's only to help students write essays? Very interesting.
(Maybe you would know more than I do. There is a website online, that claims to pay people to teach Asians English, online on the net. It sounds kind of weird. Sounds like a lot of Asians want to learn English, but how do you do it online?
