I like what you are going for, but at the current state, it isn't really intermediate material.

Lines can be cleaner and smoother, especially when using Chibipaint.
When coloring, first make a base color to cover the entire area, so that no white shines through. Black usually isn't a good color to shade with, it makes it look as if she rolled in the dirt. Try using a darker version of the base color or a complementary color. Not just shade, also use highlights. Finally, an all white background can be nice, but then the foreground has to be really interesting and well executed.
