my first oil painting was some crappy landscape that i tried to copy of his..my parents bought me the whole 'starter kit' video tape and all when i was 12.

dude, i didn't think that vhs was old.
i mean, i used to tape stuff all the time not but a few years back. and i only stopped cos our vcr got a bit broke.

not bob ross! my dad used to try to get me to watch his videos all the time when i was younger ):
and for some reason he was mentioned recently in my chemistry class...?

BUT. about the actual picture in question....it does feel a bit off. like it was calculated, rather than actually inspired/referenced. not really my cup of tea to begin with, but it just doesn't feel right. especially the fence, almost like it really doesn't belong there.
or maybe that's all just me, i don't know :l

Well, I guess I'm not putting too much thought into this. It is what it is and not everyone is going to like it. However, I love the honesty. Thanks for the comments.

I'm just barely 18 years old, and I definitely remember VHS, floppy discs, cassette tapes...
and my family early adopts everything.
