Keep drawing. :) Look up Oekaki tutorials etc too if you feel the need....
Eventually your drawings will evolve from one another and you'll come up with all sorts of different ideas and techniques.
For instance, I started doing Oekaki back around 2005 on TACo and it was mostly anime. Now it has changed to other disciplines also.
