how about just paying for it and showing some respect to the person(s) that spent numerous hours building the program. this program is so cheap compared to other drawing software.

you can get the full free version after you pay $50 for a license:

Uhm, Marcello, I always thought of you as a smart guy, but "Free version" "After you pay[b] $ 50".
I don't know, how can something be free when you pay for it. |

basically (I think, not totally sure, lol) he's trying to say there is no free version.
You could bootleg it, because some people do do that. if you go to a torrent site or whatever, find it there... but that is illegal, and it doesn't help the software creators any. |

I feel a little stupid, I thought he just randomly commented on the other Sai Tool thread...

I just found out SAI only works on 1024 x 768 resolution :/
edit: ok nevermind, I was totally lying. :P |

From my initial experience with it, I'd say it's well worth the $50. It's a powerful, easy to use program that's useful for a variety of styles.
I mean, jeez, for a program like this, $50 is an extremely reasonable price. |

This software practically is free. If you can afford a tablet, you can afford this.
There are no other drawing software of this quality that even comes close to it's low price. |

True for most. I certainly can't afford it. Wish I had a job so I could buy it, but I'm still too young.

I recommend GIMP, it's easy to download and fairly similar to lascaux and photoshop.

GimpPaint is free... but I can't really figure out how to get it to work.
Sai is definitely worth the $50, though... I do know of a way to get it to keep working after the trial, but... that's a secret and you have to find out yourself. ;) |
